Your position and role at Powell UMC; What are you passionate about? Membership Care & Adult Ministries Director. I love helping people find God in their every day lives and being more intentional about living out a life of faith.
What is the favorite part of your job? I love getting to hear people’s stories of life and faith and how God has been with them. I also love being able to be a facilitator of small groups and classes.
Family: I have two adult sons, Ben and Zach and daughter-in-law, Katlin.
Where are you from? I was born in Cincinnati OH but went to school in Westerville from kindergarten through high school.
Ministry background, degrees, credentials: I have a bachelor’s degree from Capital University in Training & Development. My Professional Certification is from the United Methodist Church in Spiritual Formation.
What are your hobbies? Ballroom dancing, reading, walking in the woods, making cards.
Your favorite quote or verse from the Bible: Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
What has God been teaching you lately? To offer grace and patience to those who think differently than I do, they are loved by God as much as God loves me.
