Vacation Bible School 2025
Program Overview 
Powell UMC is excited to take kidson the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today.
This summer take a 5 day journey with Powell UMC Vacation Bible School to allow your child’s world to be transformed! We will explore God’s Word, grow in friendships with each other and with Christ! The Bible stories come to life through teaching, exploring, and understanding how God is talking to us through scripture today in a fun, relevant and exciting way!
Meet the Bible Buddies, Learn and Understand Scripture, Discover in Imagination Station. Praise in Music. Meet friends and Grow Closer to Jesus at VBS!
This is a magical week where children engage, learn and build their faith! Sign your child up today… sign yourself or a youth up to volunteer and allow yourself or youth to be transformed too!

Overall Information About VBS Sessions
Who is able to Participate:
Children: 3 years (Fully Toilet Trained) through 6th Grade. Register your child for the grade they will be in Fall 2024.
Youth Volunteers: 7th through 12th Grade (Going into Fall 2024)
Adult Volunteers: 18 years and older. Free child care offered for volunteers who have children not able to participate in VBS.

5:20-5:55pm: Dinner in the Fellowship Hall
6:00-8:00pm: VBS Program, Begins & Closes in the Sanctuary

Donate to VBS
VBS MISSIONSBringing the Warmth of God’s Love In the United States, more than 1 in 6 kids live in poverty. Millions of families struggle to provide warm clothes, socks, and blankets for their kids. Through Operation Kid-to-Kid, the kids at True North can bring comfort in the cold – to kids in North America. A $5 donation can provide approximately $70 of brand new warm clothes and blankets. Wow – we can make a big difference! Our goal is $1,000.
Tangible Mission Items to Donate:
We will be collecting food for PIN (People In Need). A list of specific items requested by PIN will be given. Items can be placed in the Main Hall during VBS. Thank you for donating!
